Vijay Chowdhury

Vijay is a Senior Engineering Manager at Altera Corporation and heads the Failure Analysis organization. Previously she has worked at VLSI Technology Inc. and at Xicor Inc. Vijay has worked in the areas of Reliability and Failure Analysis for about twenty years and has published several technical papers. She has a Msc. from the University of Kashmir, India and a Ph.D. from the University of Salford, UK

Lakhbeer Singh Sidhu

Lakhbeer received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, Canada in Electrical Engineering in 1997. From 1998 to 2004 he was at Altera and was involved in process development of 0.25-, 0.22-, 0.18-, 0.15-, and 0.13-um technologies. He joined Xilinx, Inc., San Jose, CA, in 2004 as a Staff Engineer and developed 90-, and 65-nm technologies – bringing to volume production Virtex-4 and Virtex™-5 products. He is currently involved in 45nm process development with emphasis on SRAM DFM and transistor performance. He has published 11 journal and conference papers, and has one patent. His current research activities include CMOS technology development, volume manufacturing, yield, and device physics.

David Jefferson

David has a MSEE from Santa Clara University and 20 years of Semiconductor design experience. He also has 30 plus patents and published 2 technical papers. David has extensive experience in Field Programmable Gate Arrays and Static RAM design. He is currently a Design Manager at Altera Corporation.
